Verify Voter Registration 2013 – Election Commission Pakistan
The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has launched a verification service for registered voters. The service can be used via single Short Message Service (SMS) from any network, eligible voter can easily verify his registration by sending Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) number on 8300 without “-” , i.e digits only. The reply would be having information like CNIC No. and Electoral Area name.
Simple send your Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) number without t “-” to 8300 to verify your vote eligibility. You will get a reply would be having information of your polling station.
Purpose:
1. To verify your registration in voters list.
2. To know address/location of your polling station. ( You have to go your respective polling station to cast your vote on 11th May 2013)
Who should use this service:
1. Pakistani who have registered his/her vote to verify his/her vote.
SIMPLE STEPS To Verify Your Registration and Polling station address in Elections 2013 :
1. Take your mobile phone.
2. Go to write message option.
3. Write your Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) number without t “-” e.g your CNIC is 52268-7865236-5 , so you will write 5226878652365.
4. Send message to 8300.
5. You are all Done.
You will get automated response with Electoral Area name and poling both station address (where you have to go on 11 May, 2013 to cast your vote).

1. Please never POST / SHARE your

- Postal home address
- Mobile Numbers
On public websites/blog or social networking websites ( like Facebook etc) as it not recommended.

3. Voter registration is closed as election Schedule has been announced, Registered voters can check using the above process.

All of you, who want to register their name in any Electora Area, may Contact With District Election Commissioner Office, list of all District Election Commissioners with their telephone numbers and addresses are available on ECP’s website.
You can also check your Vote Registeration Details by sending your CNIC number without “-” to 8300, in reply you will get your electoral area and serial number on the list.

What do u say an person who is working as an specialist / individual consultant on a government project on the basis of yearly contract to be terminated on one month notice from either party – can he submit his nomination papers for MPA or MNA seat in the election?

Follow these guidelines for all sorts of questions asked here.
Step#1…sms your CNIC number to 8300(without dashes) and ECP will reply.
Step#2…This reply will first confirm that the said CNIC holder is registered for vote and is also enlisted with ECP.
Step#3…Now all this CNIC holder has to do is to cast his/her vote on the ELECTION DAY(which is 11th MAY 2013). i’d suggest you to have good background search on the nominee to want to vote in the election.(for example his past good works done, his bad works done, ask yourself if he is the best person for PAKISTAN to vote)
VOTE RESPONSIBLY. VOTE FOR A BETTER PAKISTAN
Now for those people 1)who has checked with 8300 sms service and came to know that their vote is registered with wrong address, city and any other mistakes. You guys need to hurry and go personally to the nearest ECP(election commission of pakistan)office in your area and tell them about the mistakes. They can help you and you should follow on it unless the mistakes are corrected.(THESE WRONG DETAILS LIKE ADDRESS, CITY ETC. COULD BE DONE BY THE POLITICAL PARTIES WITH NADRA’S SUPPORT TO CAST THE FAKE VOTES…jali votes jo daltey woh un naamo/CNIC# se hi daley jatey hain jinno ne kabhi vote na dala ho) YOU COULD HAVE BEEN THE VICTIM OF FAKE VOTE CASTED UNDER YOUR NAME BUT BY SOMEONE ELSE!!!
and now for those who want to change their area of vote to another area, I suggest to go to ECP nearest office and see if they can help you with it. Otherwise, try casting your vote from the area where your vote is being registered. TO VOTE IN ELECTION IS THE BASIC RIGHT OF YOU AND THE BASIC RESPONSIBILITY OF YOU TO MAKE THIS PAKISTAN A BETTER PLACE TO LIVE AND TO DO SOMETHING FOR THE PAKISTAN. ELECTION DAY IS 11TH MAY 2013 (SATURDAY) AND IT’S GOING TO BE HOLIDAY, SO I AGAIN RECOMMEND TO GO CAST YOUR VOTE EVEN IF YOUR REGISTERED AREA IS FINALIZED AND IS FAR AWAY.
and for one person asked here, if we can vote for elections on the internet, the answer is no! we have to personally and physically go the polling station to cast our vote. We will be needing our original CNIC card with us.

The election commission activities with respect election materials be appreciated at all level. All the process till end is properly managed. Electorial lists are properly printed with photo for identity. The list so provided be confidential and no copy right. Moreover, at the end of the voting day, all the copies of the electorial list be retrieved from the staff and rep of the parties.
