Welcome to TaleemTalk, a mobile application and website operated by TaleemTalk in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (“we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms govern your use of the TaleemTalk mobile application, this website and related services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing or using the App, accessing the Site or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to act for that organization.
2. Description of Services
TaleemTalk is an educational platform that provides English-language learning and profession-specific educational content, including free material and paid Knowledge Packs.
3. In-App Purchases
Certain Knowledge Packs may be purchased individually inside the App. Current pack pricing is displayed in the App before purchase. As of this update, individual Knowledge Packs are offered at US$1.49 each, subject to local App Store or Google Play pricing and taxes.
Payments are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. TaleemTalk does not directly store payment-card information. Purchases, refunds and restoration of purchases are also subject to the applicable store’s terms and policies.
4. User Accounts
Some features may require an account. You agree to provide accurate information, protect your credentials and notify us of unauthorized account use.
5. User Conduct
You may not use the Services for unlawful purposes, interfere with their security or operation, introduce malicious code, or infringe the rights of others.
6. Intellectual Property
Content, features, designs, trademarks and educational material within the Services are owned by or licensed to TaleemTalk and may not be copied, modified or distributed except as permitted by law or with our written consent.
7. Third-Party Services
The Services may use third-party services such as Apple, Google and analytics providers. Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms and policies.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance or violations of these Terms. You may stop using the Services at any time.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, TaleemTalk is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the Services. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applicable in Dubai, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will be posted on this Site with the updated date.
